What we collect, and why

The appointment request form asks for your name, phone number, an optional email address, which doctor you'd like to see, the general reason for your visit, and the days and times that suit you. We ask for this for exactly one purpose: so reception can phone you back and book your appointment.

The contact form asks for your name, a way to reach you, and your message — used only to reply to you.

What we deliberately don't collect

We don't ask for your ID number, medical aid details or medical history on this website, and the forms ask you not to include detailed medical information. Health details belong in the consultation room, told to your doctor — not typed into a website.

Where your information goes

What you submit is emailed securely to the practice's reception inbox. This website keeps no database and stores nothing you type. Your information is seen by practice staff only, is never sold or shared for marketing, and is never used to contact you about anything other than the request you made.

How long we keep it

Once your appointment is confirmed or your question answered, the email has done its job. Requests that don't become appointments are deleted within 30 days. Your medical record itself is a separate matter, kept at the practice under the rules that govern health records — not on this website.

Your rights under POPIA

• You may ask what personal information we hold about you
• You may ask us to correct it or delete it
• You may withdraw the permission you gave on a form at any time
• If you believe we've mishandled your information, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa
