GP consultations

A GP consultation is the ordinary, unhurried visit most of our day is built around: you tell us what's wrong, we listen, examine you properly and agree on a plan together.

Whether it's a chesty cough that won't go away, a child with a fever, back pain or just feeling run down, this is where to start. We keep appointments long enough to actually talk — you won't be halfway through your second sentence when the script printer starts.

We keep a few slots open every morning for people who wake up ill, so if you or your child needs to be seen today, phone reception when we open at 07:30 and we'll do our best to fit you in.

If something needs a specialist, X-rays or blood tests, we'll explain why, refer you to people we know and trust in the Centurion area, and follow up on the results with you.

Good to know

  • Bring your medical aid card and ID to your first visit
  • A standard consultation is 15–20 minutes; book a double slot if you have a few things to discuss
  • Same-day slots for sick children are held every weekday morning

In an emergency, don't use this website. Call 112 from a cell phone, 10177 for an ambulance, or go to your nearest emergency room.
